Position Information:

NWHSU is seeking an experienced chiropractor to join our ICM clinic, located in Minneapolis, MN, to supervise upper-level chiropractic student interns while providing community-based style of care in a unique and thriving population. The ideal candidate has a passion for student success, providing quality care to patients, and has the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. This individual should also have a passion for advancing the next generation of chiropractic professionals.

Hours are Thursdays 4:00 - 8:00pm and Fridays 9:00 am - 1:00pm.

This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible, adjunct faculty position.

Work Location: ICM Clinic (Located inside Family Tree Clinic), 1919 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis MN 55403

Duties:

• Providing direct supervision to upper-level chiropractic students while they provide care to the ICM patients. Assisting when help is needed.
• Uphold quality documentation standards of the university by reviewing and correcting student's patient notes.
• Assist and supervise students with patient exams.
• Assisting patients with the scheduling of future appointments.
• Assisting in the setting up and taking down of the community-based care clinic.

What you need to have?

• Doctor of Chiropractic degree, required
• Licensed DC provider in the state of MN, in good standing, required
• 3-5 years of clinical experience
• Ability to lift clinic equipment, for set up and take down (i.e. portable chiropractic tables)
• Reliable transportation to and from the ICM clinic site
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations
