Position Information:

NWHSU is seeking a dedicated and student-oriented Admissions Operations and Event Coordinator to join the admissions team and help guide prospective students through the admissions process. Key responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact for the Admissions office, support recruitment and enrollment of new students, collaborate and coordinate on-campus and virtual events, process enrollment and scholarship materials, oversee maintenance of marketing materials, and maintain academic records. Work Location: Bloomington, MN in-person

Duties:

  • Distribute or respond to incoming calls and emails to the Admissions department as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting University visitors for campus visits, student shadows, and meetings with admissions representatives.
  • Oversee mailing and maintenance of recruitment materials as directed, reordering supplies when necessary.
  • Maintain online housing newsletter with weekly updates and coordinating communication with local apartments for advertising opportunities.
  • Manage Admissions website updates and verify accuracy.
  • Plan and coordinate all on-campus and virtual admissions recruiting events.
  • Manage events communications and registration in CRM.
  • Facilitate faculty recruiting activities, such as calling events, prospective student outreach, and community tabling opportunities to build brand awareness.
  • Attend and represent the institution and its programs with accuracy and enthusiasm at all events.
  • Update Salesforce application records with admissions documents, recommendation forms, and new student waivers; scan and attach transcripts for further processing.
  • Manage admissions preparation for new student orientation.

What you need to have?

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience in database system management, ideally experience with Salesforce.
  • Experience in higher education is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong written, verbal, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Event planning experience preferred.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with a team and support others.
