Northwestern Medical Center is Hiring a Clinic Registered Nurse Near St Albans, VT
NMC is currently recruiting for a Clinic RN in the Cardiology. This position is a full-time (80 hours bi-weekly) position, hours are between 7a-5p Mon-Fri.
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse provides care for patients referred to the Cardiology, Stress Lab, Pulmonology and Endocrinology through telephone triage, education and direct care. The majority of this position is telephone triage and patient education with occasional direct patient care.
All positions within Physician Services are expected to cross train to other areas.  Each employee will have a dedicated home department but will have the opportunity to float to other areas as needed for coverage and to maintain skills. May start patient education on patients while hospitalized.
PrerequisitesEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Vermont.
Experience: 2-3 years RN experience
Certifications Required: BLS required
