NMC is currently recruiting for an ED Technician in the ED.#This position is a part-time (48#hours bi-weekly) position, hours are 7a-7:30p#and every other weekend. JOB SUMMARY:# The Emergency Department Technician plans and implements assigned patient care in collaboration with the Nursing staff in the department. The ED Technicians provides direct patient care for patients of all age groups and under a wide variety of circumstances, documents patient information PREREQUISITES Education:#High School Graduate or equivalent required. Must have a current VT LNA or LPN license or EMT Certification. Other:#The Emergency Department/Intermediate Care Technician must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. Identifies each patients age specific needs and provide the care needed by the pediatric, adolescent, and/or geriatric patient group. Certifications:##BLS required.
