The Counselor – Living Well reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities:

• Providing individual counseling to children, teens and adults impacted by a cancer diagnosis
• Assist with development and implementation of psychosocial support programs that directly support the strategic plan and vision of Living Well Cancer Resources.
• Participate in development and execution of process and quality improvement initiatives and track outcomes and productivity.
• Facilitating support and networking groups for children, teens and adults
• Position is a day shift with some evening availability being required
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required:

• Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• 3 years of experience in Counseling or Social Work
• CPR – Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred:

• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
• Bi-lingual 
• Experience in working with pediatrics and young adults
