Job Description

The  Program Director - International Health  reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Program Director, Client Services will focus primarily on supporting International Health within the Client Services portfolio. The Program Director is responsible for operations, compliance, financial and resource management of International Health patient services.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to international patient services Practice Manager and Finance Manager
  • Oversee all day-to-day activities related to operations, performance, and projects including but not limited to:
    • Identify and implement improvements to optimize performance of the service line
    • Prioritize and manage multiple complex projects involving cross-functional stakeholders, and perform a variety of functions within those projects, including: facilitating meetings, creating/delivering presentations, problem solving, setting and driving goals and timelines, designing and conducting complex analytics
    • Design and execute growth initiatives, including collaboration with cross-departmental teams as needed (e.g., strategy, finance, marketing, operations)
    • Lead innovations and operational enhancements by leveraging best practices
  • Mentor staff and assist in developing personal and professional growth opportunities.
  • Support and collaborate with Director, Client Services to enhance patient referral partnerships with governments and private payors.

Additional Functions

The Program Director, Client Services will be required to travel internationally and locally to other NMHC hospitals and facilities located in suburban Chicago, as needed, as well as consulates and embassies. The Program Director, Client Services also works with individuals who are in different time zones which may require some early morning or evening meetings.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 8-10 years industry experience.
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, demonstrated analysis and problem solving skills, excellent oral and communication skills, demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent capability to lead projects with budgets in excess of $1,000,000.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
