Our growing team at Symphony Financial - a leading wealth management firm backed by Northwestern Mutual (NM) - is looking for an Operations Assistant to support our investment, insurance, and general operations. This entry-level position provides the opportunity to rapidly gain experience and grow. We have offices in Skokie and McHenry, IL, and a flexible hybrid schedule.

Primary Duties
•Assist with investment and insurance account opening and service
o Gather required information from clients to prepare documents
o Prepare documents for client signature
o Assist clients with rollovers/account transfers/asset movement
o Process beneficiary and titling updates
o Process premium payments and life insurance loan requests
•Assist with general operations and servicing
o Research and respond to client inquiries (e.g. questions about their accounts, assisting with online access, etc.)
o Assist with team licensing and credential management
o CRM database maintenance
o Process client contact information updates (e.g. address changes, email address updates, phone number updates, etc.)
o Assist with directing incoming calls as needed
Requirements/Licensing
•Extremely detail-oriented and organized
•Team-oriented and other-oriented
•Growth-minded individuals
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, OneNote, Word)
•Expected to obtain Life and Health license in the first 90 days
•Investment licensing expected to be obtained within 9 months (must pass the SIE, Series 7, Series 63, and some internal NM assessments)
