Northwood Childrens Services is Hiring a Program Coordinator Near Duluth, MN

Northwood is hiring for the position of Program Coordinator for our Intensive Day Treatment Program! 

The Program Coordinator assumes a leadership role for the day treatment program in which he/she is assigned. The Program Coordinator assists their supervisor in the administration of agency programming and empowerment of other team members. The primary duties include the planning, organizing, communicating and coordinating functions that fulfill team and organizational objectives. In addition, the Program Coordinator is responsible for case management, daily supervision of students and facilitation of group work. Effective case management makes optimal use of available resources in the treatment of the student and their family. Program Coordinators engage in direct client contact, designing, overseeing, and coordinating the student’s treatment plan, utilizing available agency and community supportive human service resources. Program Coordinators are responsible for enforcement of Northwood program policies and procedures. In order to provide effective case management and leadership, ongoing professional self-development is necessary.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an
accredited college or university

 and 

At least 2 years’ experience in the delivery of mental health services to children with emotional disturbances.
