Northwoods Veterinary Clinic has an immediate opening for a veterinary technician (LVT) or veterinary assistant with at least one year of experience in a veterinary hospital setting.
If you're an experienced LVT or vet assistant who wants to work part-time (2-3 days/week) at our team-oriented veterinary clinic, we want to know more about you! Proficiency in technical skills such as venipuncture, running in-house Idexx lab machines, placing IV catheters, performing dental cleanings/dental radiographs, and surgical monitoring is very important, but if you can also embrace our compassionate care methods including gentle, low-stress handling of our patients and professional, considerate, and genuinely caring attitudes toward our clients, you may be just who we're looking for! Fear Free certification and training is a plus.
Ideal applicants have graduated from an accredited college, but all applicants MUST have at least one year of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant. Applicants should have a flexible schedule during the week and must be able to work Saturdays with infrequent weekend treatments.
