Responsibilities
The Community Doula is responsible for creating relationships with families during pregnancy and the post-partum period. The doula provides education outreach and works to ensure that pregnant patients have access to wellness services, receive on going care and follow up, have access to services and provide emotional support during acute care admissions.
Norton Healthcare is committed to establishing health equity in every neighborhood, and Norton West Louisville Hospital is an example of that commitment put into action. Opening November of 2024, this state-of-the-art facility is being built at 850 South 28th Street and will offer comprehensive services, including a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient care, operating rooms and imaging technology. It will serve both adults and children. It's designed with the voice of the community in mind, and will change health care for generations to come.

Qualifications
Required:

• Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Doula

Desired:

• DONA International Certification
