Norton Healthcare is Hiring a Patient Experience Coordinator - Days, PT24 Near Madison, IN

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting with multiple projects and assignments which may include interpretation and application of data as well as the development and execution of data in the form of training materials. He/she will also assist with the collection, maintenance and application of data captured via surveys, relational databases, etc. as appropriate. Highly analytical and demonstrates excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills as well as possessing a high degree of self motivation/self management and will have the capacity to meet deadlines and expectations with little direct supervision. Coordinates special scheduling requests. Oversees efforts and progress with the patient experience. Responsible for Patient Experience onboarding/orientation for new hires.

Follow up on the patient grievance process. Partners with clinical areas to pro-actively support the coordination of care for patients to support a positive patient experience. Review rounding results. Ensures ongoing focus and improvement in patient experience. Exemplifies model for exceeding service expectations and patient advocacy.

Oversees volunteer program at hospital. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

In consultation with organization leadership, identifies volunteer needs
Recruits and orients volunteers
Places volunteer in appropriate position
Supervises daily activities of volunteers
Acts as a liaison for Hospice and Hospital Chaplain volunteers ensuring we are providing the minimum required % of care to maintain the program
Participates in Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings for Hospice and patient care planning
Maintains all necessary documentation and records

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree preferred.

2. Passion for patient experience.

3. Ability to work independently

4. Ability to interpret data and communicate data to others.

5. Creativity to progress the patient experience.

6. Ability to schedule meetings, create educational materials.

7. Self motivated and ability to work independently

8. Demonstrates teamwork by treating co-workers with courtesy, respect and professionalism.

9. Able to work with volunteers and provide necessary communication and training.
