The position in our New York office requires a dependable candidate who is a self-starter with the ability to provide a high-level of customer service. This position performs general cleaning and minor maintenance duties in maintaining orderly and functional condition of the office.
The Assistant, Administrative Maintenance reports to the Office Administrator. This position is a non-exempt position and eligible for overtime pay when appropriate. Overtime will be required from time to time.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Clean and maintain conference rooms including replenishment of supplies
Set-up and breakdown conference room furniture
Clean and maintain pantries/kitchens including thorough cleaning of refrigerators and microwaves and replenishment of supplies
Assist with execution of office moves and conversions
Assist with minor repairs to facility and office furniture
Use brooms, mops, and floor equipment to sweep and mop floors
Use vacuum cleaners to clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and blinds.
Empty wastebaskets
Replace lightbulbs
Hang pictures
Clean offices and secretarial stations in preparation for new employees

Qualifications and Job related skills:High School diploma
Two plus years of handyman experience preferred
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Must be a team player who displays good judgment
Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The full time base annual salary for this position in the New York City market is expected to be up to $50,000. This salary represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting for a position in New York City. Salaries in other markets will vary depending on market data. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
