About this job...
Nosco is looking for a Folder Operator at our Pleasant Prairie, WI Facility.
As an employee owner in this position, set up and operate Bindery equipment in accordance with both internal and customer specifications, while working in a safe and efficient manner. This is a position that requires a critical eye for detail, precision, and consistency. All while working in a team-based environment.
In this role, you will...

• Setup and operates asset to set production requirements per SOPs, all related work instructions and control riders.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance/repairs, report any mechanical defects to Manager and Team Lead, and keep machinery in good working condition.
• Actively monitors production efficiency and documentation, both through Production recording software and operation of the Finishing asset.
• Ensure quality system procedures are followed at all times.
• Ensure department meets all needs for customer satisfaction including OTD.

Success factors...

• Has a basic understanding of folding principles pertaining to pharmaceutical/medical mini-fold enclosures.
• Has a basic understanding of web handling and sheeting applications.
• Experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.
• The ability to understand defects which may be encountered in manufacturing.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods of time, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
• Physical requirements may include twisting, turning, reaching over equipment, extended periods of standing.
