Not Just Numbers Inc is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Stafford, VA

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for handling multiple clients' bookkeeping on a weekly or monthly basis as well as other accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
  • Prepare and process financial transactions, such as invoices, expense reports, and journal entries.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate financial reports and statements for management review.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online & Desktop a must
  • Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
  • Previous experience in accrual journal entries
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
  • Willingness to learn new software or already have experience in Acumatica and Procas
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
