Our small family store is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maximizing sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store. This is a flexible position that will require availability on weekends. This position also requires many back room tasks including pricing, steaming apparel and transferring merchandise.

• We are only seeking individuals who can work year round, no seasonal/summer positions are available.

Individuals who can work at both locations (Glenview and Evanston) are preferable.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide exceptional service
• Assist customers with finding products and making purchasing decisions
• Operate cash register and handle financial transactions
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Stock and replenish merchandise as needed
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and store promotions
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of retail sales experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
