POSITION POSTING: PRESIDENT
Notre Dame de la Baie Academy in Green Bay Wisconsin seeks a new President to begin in July 2025. Notre Dame Academy is the preeminent college and career preparatory school in the Greater Green Bay area. The current president is retiring.
Desired Qualities
The next President should be an entrepreneurial leader with outstanding communication skills who can inspire the Notre Dame Academy community and create demand for the unique gifts and challenges of a Catholic education designed around higher standards for everyone. Understanding the powerful core elements of the NDA value proposition and differentiating the school from competitive alternatives will be critical for the school going forward.
To qualify for this outstanding opportunity, a candidate will need to be a practicing Catholic and accomplished community leader with proven leadership experience. The board welcomes candidates who are high performing “rising stars” or “emergent leaders” with exceptional leadership qualities who are ready to step up and take this outstanding school into the future. The board also welcomes candidates from other Catholic or independent schools as well as accomplished executives from other mission-critical career venues such as higher education; non-profit foundations, associations, charities, and the like; or the corporate, civic, and professional services arenas.
While a knowledge of education and school operations is desired, other qualities and experiences are also highly valued, especially organizational vision, institutional advancement and development, entrepreneurial leadership, and the ability to inspire and lead teams with multiple talents. Key Areas of Presidential Leadership
Spiritual Leadership
- Models the life of a believing and practicing Catholic and provides the vision and leadership for the growth of Notre Dame Academy as a faith community
Strategic Leadership
- Collaborates to develop and implement a long-range strategic plan
Community Engagement
- Collaborates with local partners such as GRACE schools and St. Norbert College
- Provides visible engagement in community organizations and activities and school extracurricular activities
- Continues to develop and enhance alumni relations
Institutional Advancement
- Oversees and collaborates with offices of enrollment, finance, advancement, public relations and communication
- Collaborates with Director of Advancement on fundraising projects
Administration
- Collaborates with the Principal, Associate Principal, Directors and Coordinators in matters of school administration, ensuring a high quality education
- Collaborates with Notre Dame Academy Board of Education and Corporate Board
- Oversees the maintenance of school and grounds, as well as information systems
- Exercises overall responsibility relative to compensation and benefits for all employees

- A Creative Builder – With a strong community-consciousness at the core, the President will be expected to communicate effectively, recognize the contributions of the many constituents who work on behalf of the school, and lead a vision of what a contemporary Catholic school community does for others.
Key Qualifications and Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in institutional leadership.
- Exceptional leadership, management skills and teamwork capabilities.
- Interactive social qualities, a sound character, and a firm and kind manner.
- A confident, collaborative leader with outstanding team building and people management skills.
- A social conscience, clear moral compass, and impeccable integrity.
