Nova Counseling Services is a residential alcohol and drug addiction treatment center in Oshkosh WI. Qualifications:
· Licensed as a Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC), Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or Substance Abuse Counselor in training (SAC-IT).
· Two years substance abuse counseling experience with group facilitation skills, preferred.
· Credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor in training (LPC-IT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in-training (LCSW-IT), preferred.
· ASAM experience, preferred.
· Must be able to pass the criminal background check.
· Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
Job Duties:
· Complete telephone assessments to determine appropriateness for care.
· Complete with client all intake, admission, discharge, aftercare and referral paperwork per state guidelines.
· Complete with client the assessment and an individualized treatment plan within state requirements.
· Develop appropriate strategies and interventions to assist client in addressing their problems and meeting their goals per their treatment plan.
· Provide group, individual and family counseling per client needs.
· Provide psychoeducation sessions for clients and families.
· Complete professional documentation and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
· Communicate with client’s family, referent and other interested parties on a consistent and appropriate basis to update progress and coordinate care.
· Demonstrate the ability to work as a team member including the willingness to accept feedback from co-workers and direction from the Clinical Director.
Working Conditions:
· Full-time position hours are weekdays 8:30am – 4:30pm; plus five to six weekends per year.

· Salary $60,000 - $67,000; negotiable upon experience and qualifications.
