NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager in Greenville, SC to serve as a Project/Client Manager for assigned projects and to support the Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspections Department operations. This Project Manager must have airport paving experience. Additional job responsibilities may include:

• Project coordination and project management of Special Inspection and Construction Materials Testing projects
• Client consultation and maintenance
• Preparation of client proposals and report preparation
• Providing oversight of field staff
• Project engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & report review for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office, transportation, and residential projects
• Special Inspections (Soils / Foundations, CMU Masonry, Concrete Reinforcement, Light Gauge Metal Framing, and Wood Framing)
• Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company

The preferred candidate will have:

• 4 years applicable experience field experience inspecting Soils, Structural Masonry, Concrete Reinforcement, Light Gauge Metal Framing, and Wood Framing
• Civil Engineering degree from ABET accredited school is preferred
• PE license preferred
• Understanding of geotechnical engineering concepts, foundation loads, and general construction details and specifications
• Valid state driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• Strong communication skills are a must
