Position Overview: Nova Farms is seeking a dedicated farm hand to join their Cultivation Team. The Farm Hand position will work as part of a team at our outdoor facility and will report to the Cultivation Manager. This role is responsible for the physical harvest and associated plant transfer, trimming, quality control, and packaging.

SHIFT TIME: M-F 8AM - 4:00 PM

Status: Full- time (onsite)

Compensation: 17/hr

Responsibilities:

● Assist in planting, watering, and feeding cannabis plants in outdoor growing

environments.

● Participate in pruning, trellising, and training plants for optimal growth and yield. ●

Monitor plant health, pest, and disease management, and report any issues to the

Cultivation Manager.

● Assist in harvesting, trimming, and packaging cannabis flower during harvest seasons.

● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the outdoor cultivation areas.

● Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cultivation tasks and safety protocols.

● Collaborate with team members to achieve cultivation goals and maintain crop quality.

Qualifications:

● High school diploma or equivalent.

● Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, or related outdoor farming work is

preferred.

● Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment, including standing,

bending, lifting, and working in varying weather conditions.

● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

● Knowledge of cannabis cultivation techniques in outdoor environments is a plus.

● Must be 21 years or older and comply with state regulations.

● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
