Full Time Outpatient Orthopedic Pelvic Health Physical Therapist

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Washington, D.C. is seeking an additional full time physical therapist (PT) for our pelvic health patients at our K Street OP Ortho center. We require at least one (1) year of experience as a pelvic health therapist to be considered. Herman and Wallace certification preferred but NOT required to be considered. Experience with both women and men pelvic health conditions are a PLUS, if women only, it is OK. Our extensive and unmatched con ed program will give you limitless access to CEU courses and we will pay for your H&W certifications. You must be active in continuing education courses and working towards your certification.

This is a full time (40 hour) opportunity to learn and grow with the nation's leader in outpatient physical therapy. We treat a diverse population of pediatrics through geriatrics offering general ortho, pelvic health and sports medicine services. You will be expected to also treat orthopedic patients. Our additional specialties include TDN, TMD, vestibular, concussion, and oncology.

This is a full-time weekday treating schedule to include TWO evenings until 7pm with last patient scheduled an hour prior. NO WEEKENDS.

Compensation starts at $80,000 commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

• Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
• Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
• Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
• Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited PT school
• Valid State Physical Therapist License
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
