Job Overview
This person will need to be very Customer Service/Sales Support oriented and have good communication skills, written and verbal. They will need strong attention to details and be willing to multitask. They will need to be able to Interact with customers as a one-stop solution for all their needs from product orders to expedite requests to problem resolution. They will need to be able to employ creative and “outside of the box” thinking skills to propose solutions to the challenges that may arise. This position will require you to work through the organization as the voice of the customer to prevent and solve issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities for Sales Support
Provides timely and accurate information to customers concerning orders, returns, shipments and product.
Processes customer orders/changes according to standard procedures
Coordinates and obtains approval for same day shipments
Call’s customers when necessary to advise of shipment delays and/or other information pertaining to their order
Provides timely feedback to Manager regarding service failures or customer concerns
Partners with sales and marketing to ship samples and meet and exceed customer’s service expectations
Monitor’s equipment or processes and reports problems to Manager
Follows standard operating procedures
Keeps area clean and organized as well as electronic devices
Act as back up or for other Team Members
Performs other related duties as required
Answers phone calls including tech questions when possible
Qualifications for Sales Support
High school diploma is required, or equivalent
Excellent motivational skills and works well with a team but also able to work alone
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction
Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize
0 -1-year previous customer service experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good listening skills. Ability to read and write in English. Excellent customer services skills. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Must be a team player. Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
