This candidate will report to the Project Superintendent. • To work alongside the project superintendent and project manager in formulating, discussing, and finalizing the overall plan of operations, job layout, and job schedule.
• Manage the day-to-day work of subcontractors, delegating work through foreman and/or subcontractor representatives.
• Review plans of a job, budget, and estimate with the project manager and project superintendent to ensure that quantities, values, manpower requirements, and deliveries of various divisions of the job are understood. Requirements:
• A background with an electrical focus, coming from general contracting experience.
• Four-year degree in engineering or construction management and four years' experience preferred.
• Effective subcontractor coordination skills are a must.
