Role: Plant Manager
Location: Orlando FL
Salary: $120k (negotiable depending on experience)
We have teamed up with a leading AISC certified fabricator/erector in Orlando FL. Specializing in structural and miscellaneous steel, they have a backlog of projects in the commercial world.
Job Description:
- Oversee daily plant operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.
- Ensure production schedules are met and products are manufactured on time and within budget.
- Optimize production processes for maximum efficiency, ensuring the effective use of labor, materials, and equipment.
- Track and analyze production metrics (KPIs) such as output, quality, and downtime, and drive continuous improvements.
- Ensure that all fabricated products meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Work closely with the Quality Control department to implement corrective actions for any non-conformance issues.
- Manage the plant’s operational budget, focusing on cost reduction while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Manage, mentor, and develop plant staff, providing training and support to improve skills and performance.
- Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing best practices for risk management.
What you’ll need:
- 5 years in structural steel
- Understand the steel fabrication process & know how to push material out
