Job Title: Estimator/Preconstruction Manager

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Locations: Bentonville, AZ., Jacksonville, FL., Phoenix, AZ.

Industry: Commercial Construction

The Position:

Our client is looking for an individual to join their commercial team in one of the three locations listed above. The successful candidate will be part of a cross-functional team dealing with preparing deliverables during preconstruction.

Responsibilities:

• Review contract documents and attend/facilitate pre-bid meetings to determine scope and estimate requirements.
• Incorporate historical data from prior estimates, purchase agreements, and subcontracts for current project estimates.
• Support personnel in preparing estimates for assigned divisions.
• Solicit pricing information from subcontractors/vendors.
• Develop a schedule of values, assumptions, clarifications, value engineering, and document control log for proposals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and five years of construction experience/ten years experience of commercial construction experience.
• Experience with various construction delivery methods, including: Design-bid-Build, Design-Build, and Construction Manager at Risk.
• LEED accreditation is a bonus.
