Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

Salary: $77,000 – $100,000 depending on experience, estimated bonus around 33%

Location: Swansea, SC or Columbus, GA

The Position:

Reporting to the Structural Design Supervisor, this position is integral to the design process of metal buildings, including structural steel, wall and roof panels, and stability bracing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop safe and economical structures that fulfill project requirements.
• Utilize our proprietary software for frame, secondary, bracing, crane, mezzanine, and panel analysis to ensure structural integrity and performance.
• Work closely with the Detailing Department and other team members to communicate design requirements effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in civil engineering.
• Be able to read structural drawings.
• Experience in PEMB is preferred.
