Novelty Lights is a 25-year-old established, busy and growing internet retailer and wholesaler of Christmas and Seasonal Decorative lighting, outdoor string lights, rope lights and accessories. We are seeking a Commercial Sales Account Manager to join our close-knit team. This is not a call center but a rapidly growing ecommerce & wholesale business. At Novelty Lights, our brand stands on our reputation for quality pro-grade products paired with “old-fashioned” personal sales support.

Our Commercial Sales Account Manager is responsible for upholding our high expectations for closing new business and maintaining and growing current customer accounts. Responsibilities:

Sales & Relationship Building

• Utilize expertise on professional Christmas Light displays, installation and products to sell to professional decorators around the country.
• Solicit early season business via a Pre-Order marketing campaign for existing customers.
• Bring in new business by generating and following up on leads via phone/email/in-person meetings
• Collaborate with creative marketing campaigns to utilize social media to target potential customers.
• Assist to moderate a social media forum for professionals to ask questions about Christmas Lights installation and tricks/tips on our products.
• Respond promptly, politely, and accurately to customer inquiries and concerns via email & phone
• Attend 3-6 trade shows per year to market our products to specific industries.
• Assist customers to place and change orders.

· Collaborate with the customer service team to address and resolve customer issues effectively.

• Navigate website, order and warehouse databases to respond to customer needs
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Product Knowledge

• Learn and maintain expertise on our entire Christmas Light, outdoor string light and rope light catalogs.

· Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to product details, specifications, and technical support.

• Help to create a library of training videos for Christmas Light installers & homeowners to use our products.

· Collaborate with internal teams to address product or customer related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

· Provide solutions tailored to the unique challenges faced by clients in their lighting projects

Sales Strategy and Planning

· Provide insights and feedback to contribute to the overall sales and marketing strategy.

· Gather market intelligence and feedback from customers to provide insights for product development and improvement.

· Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.

What you should be:

• Proven track record in sales, with a passion for decorative lighting.
• 3 years of experience in the CHRISTMAS LIGHT industry. This can be sales, product, or professional installation experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Proven track record in growing and maintaining sales channels and customer relationships.
• Ability to learn, problem-solve, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with using social media as a sales tool
• Excellent communication via computer and phone skills
• 100% reliable and ethical employee
• Self-starter and fast learner
• Demonstrated team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5, Occasional longer days and some weekends in Nov/Dec.

Office is in Centennial CO.; remote applicants will not be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
