The PositionThis strategic role combines aspects of both supply chain & process improvement. It is responsible for optimizing the NNPILP Supply Chain through data analysis, problem solving and execution of changes including technical improvement projects focused in Planning, Warehousing, Procurement, & Shipping. This role will also serve as a technical expert and lead for Supply Chain for site various projects.

Essential Functions
- Data analysis, problem solving and execution of changes in Planning, Warehousing, Procurement, & Shipping
- Execute transformation program strategies and projects in collaboration with Supply Chain management
- Define key activities or improvement projects and propose the associated deadlines. Including the pre-requisites and interfaces with other projects or programs
- Secure decision making throughout the program to assure deadlines are met. Adjust and update the programs according to the progress made on the established governance of the program to ensure: Sharing, monitoring, and control of the program
- Propose risk mitigation actions and communicate and at different levels of the organization
- Monitoring of the necessary resources needed for execution
- Leads continuous improvement projects, drive SPS to closure and identify any anomalies that have arisen and identify corrective actions
- Carry out necessary investigations to optimize/ make operations more reliable
- Provide engineering design support for Supply Chain facility/equipment changes & additions
- Serve as the technical expert in Warehouse automation
- Overseas operational training needs and performs training to ensure standards are met
- Responsible for investigation & solution of quality problems in department such as: unscheduled events, deviations, etc.
- Other accountabilities, as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain required
- Minimum 10 years of manufacturing, supply chain or logistics experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment preferred
- Project Management experience a plus
- Proven experience using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies & achieving sustainable process improvements required
- Demonstrated experience in practical problem solving & process improvement methods required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in SAP or equivalent required
- Experience with robotics and automation a plus
- Knowledge of US, EU regulations & guidelines, & application of GMP’s a plus
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly in writing & presentations preferred
- Experience planning, organizing, managing execution, checking results, & revising work plans preferred
- Strong communication skills across multiple organizational levels preferred
