NOVUS Glass is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Assembly Production Associate to join our team. The Technical Assembly Production Associate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to production. The ideal candidate will be team oriented, self-motivated, experienced in a manufacturing facility.

 This opportunity has a salary range of $20 to $25 an hour based on experience

Job Duties

• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate safety equipment according to each area and/or machine’s requirements, report injuries or illnesses immediately to management.
• Report product and equipment malfunctions and discrepancies to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned work areas at all times.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with production team and cross-departmental employees.
• Support Chemist.
• Technical Assembly.
• Packaging/Kitting.
• Support operation team in the office when needed.
• Assist with new and existing product development and testing.
• Shipping/Receiving - Pick, pack, ship, and process all out going shipments. Receive packages, inspect, and put away parts.
• Create necessary shipping documents.
• Injection molding.
• Soldering of electrical components.
• Wiring electrical assemblies.
• Pick assembly orders for production.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous production work is considered an asset. Not required.
• Willingness and ability to follow specific instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with little supervision.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Commitment to accuracy and detail oriented.
• Ability to work alone or in a team environment.
• Ability to cross train and learn skills in other areas.
• Computer skills
• Operate Forklift
• Ability to occasionally lift up-to 65 lbs.
