Position: Director of Finance
Location: Salt Lake City
Pay: $145,000-$160,000
We are seeking a detail-oriented Director of Finance join our client's growing manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate for the Director of Finance position will bring a wealth of experience from organizations with revenues exceeding $30M, contributing to significant company growth. They will possess in-depth knowledge of Work in Progress (WIP) and cost accounting, crucial for managing our manufacturing department's financial operations. This role encompasses vital responsibilities, including budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis, all aimed at bolstering strategic decisions within our dynamic manufacturing division.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Proven experience in a financial leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Prior experience as a Controller
• Knowledge of Work-In-Progress (WIP) and cost accounting
• Hands-on approach to financial management
• Experience in creating and managing monthly budgets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash flow to ensure financial stability.
• Conduct month-end journal entries for accurate financial records.
• Review Zions Bank online activity to monitor transactions.
• Generate monthly fiscal statements to track financial performance.
• Collaborate with bankers on loan management and negotiation.
• Perform job costing to assess project profitability.
• Enter Work in Progress (WIP) data monthly for ongoing projects.
• Implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
• Manage day-to-day operations for the team, fostering a productive work environment.
