Nox-Crete, Inc. is Hiring a Remote PART-TIME* Accounts Payable and Billing Specialist (Remote Work Available)

PART-TIME POSITION; HOURS ARE FLEXIBLE AND REMOTE WORKING IS POSSIBLE

General Information

Position Title: Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist

Department: Accounting

Reports to: Assistant Controller

Purpose of Position

The purpose of this position is to improve business and operating results through conscientious facilitation of company policies and procedures in order to achieve high quality customer service and ensure accurate financial information.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Accounts Payable; accurately process all invoices while verifying correct pricing, freight costs, inventory receipts, and sales tax. Timely research and follow-up on any discrepancies with supervisor.
  • Maintain neat and accurate filing records.
  • Generate daily customer billing; ensure accuracy with all supporting documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate vendor / supplier records.
  • Assist with transaction integrity, ensuring transactions are posted in entirety to correct accounting period.
  • Perform duties within given deadlines and be alert to processing EOM / EOY transactions as quickly and accurately as possible for period end closing process.
  • Assist with accounting projects as necessary.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by supervisor.

Major Work Relationships

  • Routinely interacts and works with all departments, customers and vendors to help create a work environment conducive to solving problems and providing quality customer service.
  • Works closely with Controller and Assistant Controller to provide accurate and timely financial information.

Education, Experience and Skills & Abilities

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree in business / accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year general office operations.
  • Above average experience in bookkeeping, accounting or closely related field.

  • Ability to maintain ethical, objective business relationships in which the best interests of the Company and its customers are maintained.
  • Self-motivated with ability to perform daily tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and assign priorities as appropriate.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of Company employees in a team-centered, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy including intermediate level word processing & spreadsheet skills.
  • Aptitude to learn advanced ERP system.
  • Ability to interact competently and comfortably over the telephone.
  • Math and/or accounting aptitude.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
