Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Only after NV licensure is obtained (designee holds the following responsibilities until Director obtains licensure) Acts as the "Managing Pharmacist", who is responsible for compliance by the pharmacy and its personnel with all state and federal laws and regulations relating to the operation of the pharmacy and the practice of pharmacy.
Additional InfoFacility is 75 beds and is state of the art and the community population is around 35,000. They are located at the base of the Ruby Mountains so a great place to live.

QualificationsWhat they are looking for:Bachelors or PharmD required.
At least 3 years of acute care/hospital leadership experience.
Able to obtain NV Pharmacist License within 3 months of hire.
Hours And Compensation PotentialThe position is full time.
The range is between $145K-$175K depending on experience.
The facility offers a full benefit package and will discuss a relocation/sign-on bonus.
