Duties And Responsibilities
- Travel in company provided truck up to a three-hour radius to customer's locations for preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment
- Conduct analysis of mechanical equipment, electrical, motors, ignitors, airflow systems, burners, drives and control systems in the field to achieve optimum performance.
- Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Approximately 10% travel to adjacent territory when co-worker technician is on vacation or needs help with a larger system.
- Hands on
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with big motors, moving fans, and fan belts.
- Understanding of air flow, temperature testing, drive belts, exhaust systems, air intake systems and fans.
- Basic electrical knowledge of controls.
- Understanding of electrical theory, knowing electrical flow and current flows.
- Burner and heat transfer experience a plus.
- Experience with VFD a plus
- Associates degree or 5 years of related experience
