Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: LOCATION MANAGERAbout Employer & AreaEmployer is a well-established Montana Ag Retailer offering Agronomy, Grain, and Energy products and services to their patrons. Location includes a fertilizer plant, tire shop, and small farm/c-store and has a loyal customer patronage. Our client is offering a Competitive Base Salary, Personal Performance Bonus, Company Performance Bonus and Excellent Benefits Package including possible relocation assistance. Area is a rural agricultural area located within easy driving distance of a larger urban area for commuting, major shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.
This employer is assisting an Established Montana Ag Retailer in finding a Location Manager for one of their Northern Montana locations.The primary focus of this role is to direct, manage, supervise, and coordinate activities and operations of the location and personnel. This Manager will maintain a solid knowledge of all product information, merchandise for sale, promotions and advertisements. Additionally, this Manager will work closely with Agronomy management to develop and implement successful marketing and sales programs for their Ag Grower customers. They will promote, sell, and support a "Whole Crop Production" Agronomy department philosophy with respect to Crop Nutrients, Crop Protection, Seed, and Services. Finally, this Manager will perform and encourage all employees in workplace safety and will hold employees accountable regarding workplace safety.
Ideal candidate will have experience selling Ag chemicals, fertilizer, and seed as well as providing agronomic services to Ag growers. Ideal individual will also have experience managing a location, preferably one with a convenience store, with ability to oversee employees and assist in the c-store and tire shop as necessary. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented and customer service-focused.
This role will report directly to the Division Manager - Agronomy for the organization.

Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year Ag-related Degree preferred
- At least 5 years of Customer-Focused Agronomic experience working with Ag Growers
- Minimum 2 years of personnel supervisory experience
- Experience working in and/or managing a convenience store is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with ability to prepare accurate and timely reports for senior management team
- Clean driving record with valid State of Montana driver license
- Desire to work in a small, rural Agricultural community with loyal customer patronage
