Job OverviewOperate a commercial vehicle throughout Wisconsin. Requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training, and help those that work within the warehouse (shipping/receiving/transportation).
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver company loads between Green Bay and Cudahy WI. and deliver customer loads throughout WI. (Home nightly)
- Perform daily Truck Safety Check Lists
- Responsible for daily trailer inventory
- Able to assist in the loading/unloading of freight
- Communicate any unsafe, improperly maintained, or nonconforming issues in a timely manner
- Responsible for all other tasks as assigned
- Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL
- May be required to stay beyond their shift (with very little notice) to resolve process issues
- Flexibility for nonstandard work hours – flexible with own shifts and work hours
- Good written and verbal communication skills and must be proficient in reading and writing English
- Ability to multi-task and interact with internal and external customers
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Physical ability including climbing, bending and repetitive motions
- Standing/sitting for long periods of time
- Computer skills to include basic skills with the ability to learn reporting within the NPS system
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
