Location: Silver Grove, KY
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Seasonal)
Shift: Temp to hire 6:50am-4p for now Mon-Fri and weekend will be needed here soonJob Description
- As an Elevator Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the facility's operations. Key duties include:
- Loading and unloading railcars and trucks
- Operating a grain dryer
- Assisting with grain handling
- Performing general housekeeping and maintenance tasks as needed
- To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Commitment to achieving a zero-injury workplace by following all safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Consistent, reliable attendance
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, which include:
- Standing and sitting for prolonged periods
- Working in confined spaces and at heights
- Bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders
- Working in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.)
- Lifting up to 55 lbs unassisted
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, if needed
- Ability to work independently, with the initiative to contribute in a team setting when required
- Maintain a professional demeanor and a positive, respectful attitude at all times
