Job Title: FAA - Test Technician, Sr
Location: Oro Valley, AZ 85755
Duration: 6 Month Contract

Job Core Responsibilities :

Perform disassembly, assembly, re-work, and testing of various electrical/electronic equipment.
Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
Maintain an acceptable safety record and attendance record.
Willingness to learn to test and troubleshoot various products as required.
Complete necessary training to maintain knowledge and skills required for job performance.
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Position requires overtime to meet production schedules and demands.
Adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Self-monitor work progress against fast-paced area benchmarks to achieve on-time delivery of all work.
Assist with area efficiency and 6S improvement projects.
Assist other departments with job duties and tasks as needed within the scope of expertise.
Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Perform maintenance and alteration tasks in accordance with current technical data provided in the manufacturers' instructions for continued airworthiness, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
Complete work according to instructions, specifications, and procedures, with limited supervision.
Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary.

Physical Requirements:

Approximately 80% sitting and 20% standing/walking indoors.
Lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
Use hand tools and power tools.
Use head and neck in static positions, looking up/down and side-to-side.
Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands.
Perform light lifting from floor, table, and shelf.
Push and pull carts or mobile tables, both loaded and unloaded.
Minimal exposure to heavy lifting, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders, and kneeling.
Minimal exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, hazardous equipment, and uneven walking surfaces.

Job Specifications:
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience : 3-5 years work experience in an electronics manufacturing/testing environment or completed OJT training for at least 10 products.

Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to read schematics and understand circuit functions.
Perform troubleshooting of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the component level.
Must be able to communicate fluently in technical terms both verbally and in writing.
Ability to set up and utilize manual and automated test equipment for testing and troubleshooting digital and analog circuitry.
Ability to program and operate environmental test chambers.
Experience with MS Office Suite and general computer literacy.
