JOB: Warehouse Forklift Operator
Location: Casselton, ND
Job Type: 6 Months of Contract (Possible extension)
- Summary
This role entails accurately pulling and staging orders for delivery, unloading inbound shipments, verifying order specifications and quantities, identifying stock discrepancies, ensuring vehicle safety, and maintaining a tidy and safe work environment.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including shifts and weekends, may be required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare orders by accurately pulling items from stock to meet delivery requirements.
- Conduct physical inventories to verify stock levels and identify losses.
- Receive stock and non-stock items, ensuring correctness in specifications, quantity, and quality.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels to ensure availability of items when requested.
- Process report requests, documents, deliveries, and materials to disseminate information efficiently.
- Clean the warehouse to maintain an organized layout and ensure a safe work environment.
Education and Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Forklift experience required; Forklift Certification preferred (training provided if necessary).
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written procedures and compose routine documents.
- Proficient reading comprehension.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Compensation: [Pay range $19.50-$20.00/hr]
