Job Title: Microbiologist I
Location: Maumelle, AR 72113

FRIDAY-TUESDAY (will work all weekends) and onsite.
Hours are 7 AM- 4 PM.

Position Purpose:

Apply expertise in quality assurance and microbiology to the facility manufacturing processes and microbiology lab to result in conformance to FDA-Cosmetic guidelines and current Good Manufacturing Practices.

The incumbent provides assistance in the development and implementation of quality systems, processes and procedures consistent to meet FDA regulatory and corporate guidelines.

The incumbent is part of a high-performance team and is accountable to perform the required tasks assigned to this position.

Duties include, but are not limited to reading out finished product, water, and raw materials, additional micro testing if needed, and release of finished product in SAP.

Tasks outside the lab include: updating the quality board on each converting line.

Incumbent must be able to lift 40 pounds.

Qualifications:

This position requires knowledge and ability typically associated with a Bachelor degree in Microbiology/Bacteriology/Natural Physical Sciences.

Graduate students of Microbiology may apply.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
