Title : Multi-Modality X-Ray TechnologistLocation: Lone Tree, CO (onsite) $2500 Sign On BonusSalary Range:35.00 To 45.00 (USD) Hourly Job PurposeRadiologic Technologist performs quality imaging to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. Duties And Responsibilities
Ensure operation of CT/MR equipment, complete maintenance and/or QA requirements, troubleshoot malfunctions, and assist in scheduling repairs.
Use safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Set up CT/MR room ensuring that all necessary equipment is ready.
Complete necessary screening of all patients prior to entering MRI suite, beginning scan, or administering contrast media.
Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam or procedure.
Prepare patients for imaging by positioning and adjusting immobilization devices.
Position imaging equipment and adjust technical factors according to specifications of examination.
Maintain production and quality of images by following established standards and procedures, reviewing completed images, and making necessary adjustments.
Monitor patients' conditions and reactions, reporting abnormal symptoms to physician.
Take thorough and accurate patient medical histories, complete appropriate documentation.
Contribute to team effort, coordinate work with clerical personnel and other technologists.
Collaborate with other medical team members, such as physicians and nurses, to carry out patient care.
Demonstrate new equipment, procedures/techniques to staff, and provide technical assistance.
Monitor and maintain adequate supplies for the department.
Education and Experience Requirements
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
Valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Current ARRT registration in CT and/or MRI.
1-2 years of experience is preferred.
Current BLS Certification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Physical Requirements
Extensive knowledge of 3-dimensional anatomy.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Knowledge of computers/technology and ability to learn and use new programs.
Superior customer service.
Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds without assistance.
Occasionally required to sit, stand, or walk for extended lengths of time.
