NR Consulting is Hiring a Release Train Engineer (RTE) Near Whippany, NJ

Title: Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Location: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Duration: Long Term
Primary Responsibilities
  • Managing the ART flow of value
  • Coordinating and aligning ART activities with the organization's strategic goals
  • Serving as a liaison between product management, development and operations teams
  • Maintaining calendars for program increments (PIs), or phases of ART projects
  • Implementing PI planning events and monitoring their progress
  • Monitoring the development and implementation of new programs and features
  • Identifying and managing ART bottlenecks, help the ART manage and mitigate risks
  • Encouraging teams within the ART to collaborate on tasks to meet goals
  • Promoting improvement through inspect and adapt (I&A) events after PI completions
  • Helping keep the ART productive by ensuring the use of lean-Agile processes
  • Provide guidance to their teams while completing tasks alongside team members during peak times to help them stay on schedule
Essential Skills
  • Excellent in planning & coordination, follow-ups, interacting with all levels of organization. (Must have)
  • Ability to adapt to fast paced environment (Must have)
  • Recent experience in conducting PI planning events. (Must have)
  • Well versed with SAFe framework, roles and responsibilities. (Must have)
  • Hands on experience using JIRA for PI planning, managing ART flows and Epic Kanban. (Must have)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications. (Must have)
  • Previous Scrum Master experience managing multiple scrum teams. (Preferred)
  • Certified SAFe RTE (Preferred)
  • Financial industry experience is a plus. (Desirable)
