Airtron is currently seeking HVAC Technicians for our location in Austin,TX.
You'll be part of the HVAC Service team that services heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment in residential homes. An installer position is fast-paced and is physically demanding.

What you'll do as an HVAC Technician

• Service heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment and other products, following all safety rules and manufacturer specifications
• Identify, wire, and start-up complete residential systems
• Troubleshoot, recommend, and resolve/repair all issues to keep equipment functioning properly
• May perform start-ups, testing & recording results for each system during start-up to ensure the system is functioning properly
• Perform proper inspection of system and inform dispatch/customer of any outstanding concerns
• Explain each service and repair performed to dispatch/customer
• Directly coordinate with office for day-to-day work schedule
• Facilitate orders for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service
• Transport parts, materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned items
• Debrief all service(s) provided with dispatch/customer after each service call with respective documentation
• Inspection of area for cleanliness after job completion
• Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out
• Abide by all company standards of performance and code of ethics
• Maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates
• Ensure all foot ware has protective floor savers while working in client home
• Provide excellent customer service
• Complete paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough and timely manner
• Follow safety policies and procedures.

Minimum qualifications and what you'll need to be able to do

• Be at least 18 years old
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to work at heights and use a ladder
• Have prior HVAC service experience
• Able to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Comfortable in small, confined spaces like attics
• Able to withstand extreme temperatures and weather conditions while wearing PPE
• Go up and down stairs
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and organizational standards
• Able to use a computer for basic tasks
• Communicate and read in English
• Have a valid driver's license and able to drive to and from job sites

Qu hars como tcnico de HVAC

• Equipos de calefaccin, aire acondicionado, ventilacin y otros productos, siguiendo todas las normas de seguridad y especificaciones de fabricacin
• Identificar, cablear y poner en marcha sistemas residenciales completos
• Solucionar problemas, recomendar y resolver/reparar todos los problemas para mantener el equipo funcionando correctamente
• Puede realizar puestas en nuestro sistema y registro de resultados para cada sistema durante la puesta en marcha para garantizar que el sistema funcione correctamente
• Realizar una inspeccin adecuada del sistema e informar al despacho / cliente de cualquier inquietud pendiente
• Explicar cada servicio y reparacin realizada a despacho/cliente
• Coordinar directamente con la oficina para el horario de trabajo diario
• Facilitar los pedidos de todas las piezas requeridas para las citas y garantizar la preparacin para el da del servicio
• Transportar piezas, materiales y herramientas al sitio de trabajo y proporcionar una contabilidad adecuada de los artculos asignados
• Informe todos los servicios proporcionados con el envo / cliente despus de cada llamada de servicio con la documentacin respectiva
• Inspeccin del rea para la limpieza despus de la finalizacin del trabajo
• Mantener el vehculo de la empresa, asegurando la limpieza y organizacin, tanto por dentro como por fuera
• Cumplir con todos los estndares de desempeo y cdigo de tica de la compaa
• Mantener un comportamiento corts con todos los clientes y asociados
