NRP Jones, LLC sells to distributors and original equipment manufacturers in all 50 states, Canada, and abroad. Proudly serving many industries including agricultural industries, mining, construction, industrial equipment, automotive, military, and aircraft to name a few.
Position OverviewAs a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of
quality assurance within the organization. You will develop and implement
quality management systems, procedures, and policies to ensure products or
services meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Additionally, you will lead a team of quality assurance professionals and
collaborate with other departments to drive continuous improvement
initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Establish quality control processes and procedures for product development, manufacturing, and service delivery.
  • Analyze data and metrics to monitor quality performance and drive corrective actions as necessary.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality procedures and identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of quality excellence by promoting awareness, accountability, and a commitment to quality throughout the organization.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components, including conducting supplier audits as needed.
  • Manage customer feedback and complaints by investigating root causes, implementing corrective actions, and communicating resolution effectively.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in quality management.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting areas of improvement and risk mitigation strategies.
RequirementsEducation / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100), and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EU MDR).
  • Experience leading quality audits, inspections, and CAPA processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of quality professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functional areas.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products or services.
Additional Information
  • This position may require occasional travel to supplier sites or customer locations.
  • Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate audits or quality-related issues outside of regular business hours.
