We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist II who can independently run a full-cycle payroll in ADP WFN for over 1000 team members, salary and hourly with premiums, multi-state. The Payroll Specialist II is responsible for accurate, timely and compliant payroll and serves as back up support for Canada payroll. In addition to processing payroll, this position will participate and lead payroll projects with cross functional department teams.

Principal Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assure compliant and timely bi-weekly ADP payroll for US
  • Audit assurance for accuracy and completion of the daily HR interfaces to ADP
  • Assure compliant timecard processing, recordkeeping.
  • Maintain all ADP DataBridge files; troubleshooting and datamining experience is a plus.
  • Process necessary file extracts and check requests for applicable vendors (with assured accuracy)
  • Engage within regular vendor partnership calls for problem solving and issue resolution.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of payroll and payroll tax regulations and guidelines.
  • Utilize HR’s portal and case management system (ServiceNow HRSD), responsible for queue management, end-to-end handling of cases and driving case closure
  • Provide effective and prompt solutions to internal customer inquiries on a wide array of Payroll topics and deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities and implementation of improvement projects and initiatives in processes and systems
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and document when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years payroll processing experience. Minimum 3 years working experience processing payroll for both Canada and USA payroll procedures and policies.
  • Diploma in Accounting, Business or related discipline, or equivalent combination of work experience and education. Payroll Certifications are a plus.
  • Proficiency in multi-state payroll processes is required
  • Experience handling manual processes related to payroll.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce for Payroll and Enhanced Time and Attendance
  • Demonstrated analytic ability to assure payroll regulatory compliance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Clear and logical thinker with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Solid team player mindset with ability to lead and working independently.
  • Effective organizational skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work long hours as needed (some days will require more than 8 hours)
  • Knowledge of Canadian payroll may be considered an asset.

Salary Range: $64,207 – 83,507 USD

The total pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At NSF, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
