NSF is Hiring a Specialist I Quality Assurance Near Ann Arbor, MI

Job Description
To work within the Quality Team to ensure effective maintenance and development of the NSF Quality Management System meeting scheme and accreditation standard requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Quality team in the maintenance and development of the Quality Management System
  • Assist in internal and external Audits
  • Supporting the coordination of required accreditation activities
  • Provide training on document control processes and other systems
  • Management and support of assigned complaints
  • Provide Quality monitoring data including monitoring of corrective actions
  • Assisting and leading continuous improvement projects, where required
  • To act impartially and maintain the confidentiality of NSF activities at all times, including that of its clients
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • Ongoing review and update of Quality documentation and procedures
  • Provide technical support to enter/update Listings data to create and issue Certification Documentation to clients
  • Undertake training in Quality related processes
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO standards desirable
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Experience and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outloo
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
  • College degree in Business, Food, Operations preferred or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years relevant experience, preferably in a quality, manufacturing or certification/testing environment
  • Experience and understanding of databases preferred.
