Job Title: Heavy Machine Operator
Exempt/Non-exempt: Non-Exempt
Responsibilities:
•Operates Machine
•Separates parts from scrap
•Checks parts
•In machine stops, check the machine
•Follow Supervisor's and Foreperson's instructions. Communicate with other employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Must be 18 years or older.
•Ability to operate machines.
•On the job training.
•Must be able to understand all essential functions. In approximately one month, candidate should have a good understanding of the job.
•Good use of common sense.
ENVIRONMENT:
100% performed in plant facilities with extensive noise and machinery running
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 50 pounds.
