The Pricing Supervisor Role
Coordinate sales activities of organization by performing detailed analysis and reporting for Key Performance Indexes.
Responsibilities
- Provides customer quotes, analyzes quote trends, and maintains profit levels across products and services set by the VP and Segment Marketing Managers.
- Maintains the quote databases, and updates with any changes in pricing.
- Works with commercial team to provide customer quotes and prioritize workload to achieve internal and external timing, "speed of response."
- When providing quotes, analyze prior quote trends, review similar segment/applications, customers and part numbers to suggest ideal pricing strategy.
- Create and review "Make vs Buy" analysis to identify optimal company contribution, including domestic variable contribution worksheet.
- Provide different sourcing details and cost to lead the understanding of the best possible sourcing for the organization.
- Communicate, educate, and train the sales team on required documentation for quote creation.
- Maintains the quote databases, and updates price changes as needed.
Qualifications
- This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-4 years of position-related experience; preferably 4-6 years of position-related experience.
