Are you interested in breaking into the Government Contracting Finance & Acquisitions space? Come and join forces with a local and seasoned company with over 30 years of experience within the Finance and Engineering arena located right here in the Metro DC area. You will be sponsored for a Secret level security clearance right off the bat as we await several long term and stable projects to kick off over the coming weeks and months. We are in need of several Acquisitions/Finance folks from junior through senior level who are looking for a home!!! Location wise, some positions will require 100% onsite support at the Navy Yard in DC while others will be a hybrid of remote and onsite in addition to fully remote positions being available as well! - Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Measure organizational performance; assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
- Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
- Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s spending.
- Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders.
- Manage finances across multiple funding types.
- Track budgets, costs, and variances. Produce executive summaries.
- Conduct financial reporting and analyses on financial issues and customer requirements.
- Interpret and apply financial management principles.
- Apply financial management processes, techniques, policies, regulations and organizational strategic goals.
- Years of related experience breakdown:
- Junior level (1 – 4 years experience)
- Mid-level (5 years – 9 years experience)
- Senior Level (10 years )
- Completed degree a nice to have but not required
- Prior gov con experience also nice to have but will consider public sector/commercial backgrounds as well! We will train!!
- US Citizenship required and willingness to obtain a sponsored clearance
- Must be local to the Metro DC/NOVA area.
