• This position is hybrid with Tuesday-Thursday being onsite.
• The incumbent must reside near Chicago, Baltimore, or Philadelphia.
• The standard shift is 8 AM-4 PM.

Overview

• Our client is seeking a Senior IT Services Analyst who will perform and manage activities related to planning, designing, building, and maintaining IT services, projects, portfolios, products, and processes. The role involves creating and assigning detailed tasks to subordinates and carrying budget responsibility for a small project, sub-project, or process component, all under minimal supervision. The analyst will utilize an understanding of the customer's business needs to determine requirements, applying technical expertise to plan, design, build, or support the necessary products and processes. Additionally, the analyst will assist other team members in learning relevant theories, practices, and principles. Responsibilities also include managing the budget for the assigned area of responsibility and overseeing the working relationship with outsourcing partners.

Responsibilities

• Perform, manage and appropriately document work activities relating to IT service portfolios or products in support of our business partners in Real Estate, Transportation, and Corporate areas.
• Lead IT activities required to manage service level agreements.
• Lead weekly status reviews, monthly portfolio reviews, and demand/enhancement. prioritization efforts with business partners.
• Work with support vendors to resolve application issues.
• Assist others in planning and prioritizing work and work schedule.
• Assist in creation of documentation for products and services.
• Use best practices to improve products and services provided to business unit partners, and monitor adherence within Team/Group to standards as defined within the Management Model.
• Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners and other stakeholders.
• Establish a positive team environment by proactively assisting and training less experienced personnel.
• Provide performance and development feedback as required.
• Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within your own discipline or function.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 4 to 7 years experience in Information Technology or, in lieu of a degree, 7 years of relevant work experience.
• 2-4 years of application support experience.
• Proficiency with data analysis in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
• M365 Online SharePoint development experience.
• Experience leading small IT projects or sub-teams and knowledge of IT project management.
• Strong problem solving and analysis ability.
• Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work with remote project teams.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of Cloud-based systems like Azure, AWS includes cloud-hosted Applications, technologies, and methodologies.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow especially with GRC and other workflows.
• Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server and other databases and related querying and reporting tools.
• Understanding of Windows & Unix (Solaris, Linux) technologies, including similarities and differences.
• Experience with Integration platforms such as Informatica, Boomi, Apigee.
• Experience in regulatory compliance environments such as: Sarbanes-Oxley, NERC CIP, HIPAA, PCI
• Experience with complex, integrated, large-scale Enterprise systems; understanding of applications architectures for a system of systems , cloud and on-prem systems, workflows and business processes.
• Deep experience with application software development lifecycle models, both waterfall and iterative.
• IT project management experience.
