• This position is remote. Candidates should be based in the Eastern Time Zone. Once or twice per quarter, this individual should be willing to travel to the Washington, DC / Northern Virginia area for “moments that matter” meetings.

Our client is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to find meaning in data as a thought leader so that the derived knowledge can be used to make informed decisions and assist the organization in making better business decisions by leveraging Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

Essential functions include the following:

• Partner with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to enable model building and code deployment/optimization.

• Engages in data exploration using various programming languages – namely SQL and Python.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to perform gap analysis, identify trends, glean insights, and develop business appropriate recommendations.

• Serve as an expert resource supporting data questions and issues from stakeholders and driving to resolution.

• Research and analyze data flow across complex data ecosystem including operational and analytical data platforms.

• Manage the collection of business and technical requirements from stakeholders to deliver data driven solution.

• Produces and reviews technical documentation that is consistent with professional standards.

• Lead in the design, development, validation and delivery of data to provide insight into business decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in a progressively responsible analytical/quantitative role.

• 3 years of data analysis experience in the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence space.

• Experience working with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers in an effort to build models and deploy and optimize code to solve business problems.

• Proficiency leveraging SQL and/or Python for data analysis.

• Experience leveraging AWS services such as Glue and Athena.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience in the healthcare industry.

• Hands on experience with Big Data/NoSQL platforms.

• Experience delivering production projects at scale.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with diverse stakeholders.
