Job Title: Benefits Analyst - Human Resources
Client: Health Care Insurance Company
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote (DMV Candidates Only)

Job Description:

  • Purpose: Administers benefits administration with expertise in employee and vendor responses. Manages corporate benefit plans, annual enrollment, and resolves inquiries.

Essential Functions:

  • 40% Administers corporate benefit plans and well-being programs.
  • 30% Supports annual enrollment, communicates benefits details, and advises on eligibility.
  • 20% Conducts data entry for benefit elections.
  • 10% Identifies and resolves benefits-related inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Less than one year in HR department through internship or similar roles; benefits assistant experience preferred.
  • In Lieu of Education: Additional 4 years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of retirement plans, 401(k)s, IRAs, and Roth IRAs.
  • Ability to explain technical benefits information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with healthcare and insurance regulations.

Other Requirements:

  • Must disclose any issues affecting eligibility for Federal health care programs.
  • Must thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
